When I was a kid I used to be a afraid of dogs. Fortunately I am over this fear now, but I remember I used to be petrified of the poor creatures.
I also remember that people used to tell me not to be afraid and bring their dog over to touch/ lick me while I would be practically hyperventilating.
Those people were assholes.
